Boston Red Sox pitcher Josh Beckett will trade in his glove for a pair of
bowling shoes during the 4th Annual Beckett Bowl, as he and other local
stars and athletes compete in a bowling tournament to raise money for the
Josh Beckett Foundation and Children's Hospital Boston. After the
tournament, the festivities will continue with a concert by country music
sensation Jason Aldean along with a meet and greet at the House of Blues

Singing with the bluesy conviction of an old soul, Daniel Merriweather is familiar to many as the voice of Mark Ronson's hit cover of The Smiths' classic single, "Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before." The track, which appears on Ronson's 2007 sophomore solo album Version, is just one of three released to feature Merriweather's voice, and another, "She's Got Me," appeared on Ronson's 2003 solo debut, Here Comes The Fuzz. The other is the single "City Rules," and all gained Merriweather a following in Australia, as well as in hipster clubs in London, Paris and New York. Merriweather's first commercially available album Love & War was released in June 2009, reaching #2 on the UK Albums Chart. The album was preceded by the singles "Change" and "Red", which both made the Top 10 on the UK Singles Chart.

If you park at Anthony's or one of the surrounding lots just walk past the Seaport Bar then take an immediate left before the World Trade Center onto the Commonwealth Pier. The boat is halfway down the pier.
